This highlights my biggest concerns with the JS ecosystem: changes get rolled out too fast, and there is a TON of interdependency across JS libraries. If you want to use a package like Debugnode, you don't just have node-ipc as a dependency, you have 14 other packages that you directly depend on. You end up depending on hundreds of packages indirectly just for downloading a single tool.

Node ipc is not really related to VueJS because only Vue CLI used it. We don’t need as a VueJS developers Vue CLI to create and deploy VueJS project so all the site that use VueJS and has updated they dependency’s has not been hack by node ipc. But people in russia who used VueCLI of course have got the malware but note the VueCLI is the older and legacy way to create VueJS project.
