HOW TO Set Up An EASY Verification System With Carl Bot *NEW UPDATE* 2021 WORKING -adsmember

Discord recently made an update so that the "Read Text and See Voice Channels" permission has been moved and is now called "View Channels" it should be one of the first permissions that you see when you select a role to edit. As for the "Read Messages" permission, it has been changed to "Read Message History" Big thanks to some people in the comments that brought this to my attention!

A:
Discord recently made an update so that the "Read Text and See Voice Channels" permission has been moved and is now called "View Channels" it should be one of the first permissions that you see when you select a role to edit.

Q: "The bot can't assign the role because it says that its highest role is below the role that it is supposed to assign to members. Why?
A: To fix this problem, you want to go to "Server Settings" then click on "Roles". Then you want to click on the "Bot" role and drag it above the "Verified" role on the role list so that the Bots can assign that role to new people. The reason why it didn't work was because if a role is below another role, they cannot manage that role. This includes updating role permissions. But most importantly, assigning it to other members.

Hi! Your tutorial was helpful, thank you! I do have one problem however-
I did everything in this tutorial, I went to channel settings and made sure to press the read buttons option. But for some reason the verification message just doesn't show up to unverified to people, the channel does, and so do other messages. I'm not sure what to do
