Also, one thing I should have added was a secret string in the webhook message. Then in Python, validate this secret to make sure it matches in order to authenticate the request. If not, return a dictionary immediately with an error message or 403 Forbidden. I will make more videos with TradingView to demonstrate and add this to the Github repo.

1. Have you found a better Solution other than this thus far that's free with Python, ex. IB ?

2. What if we wanted it to be more dynamic, for all of the market, (Forex, S&P, Stocks, Crypto), do we have to set up alerts in Tradview to send a webhook to the AWS and Alpaca Lambda, Chalice ?

3. I think this is most straight foward approach I have seen you do for placing Orders for free and very Pythonic/Easy…..Yet complex and comprehensive….

Does anyone have an issue that tradingview alerts? They will randomly execute, but when you fire up tradingview you don’t see the strategy indicator on the chart…

Oddly I’m noticing that as long as the tradingview chart is open and active on my computer with the instrument and strategy I have the alert set up for, the alerts get more reliable (ie what I see onscreen match more closely with the alerts I’m getting). Is anyone else observing this as well? Is there a fix I’m missing?

This might sound like a dumb question – but once everything is deployed, where do I see in AWS that my web app is working? Is there a way to track the orders coming in? I included the last requests Larry did via the id, and client order id, but don't know where I would cross check for them. when it was a local host – I saw the return messages via my terminal, but now that it is on AWS, I don't know where to find them.

But I have a question, is it possible to secure my API key for real Bitmex trading? I don´t like the the idea to upload my real API keys to AWS : ).

Hi, Thank you for the detailed video. I was able to follow this and get it working – almost!. The process works when i use the local server instance. But when i use the AWS weburl , I get a missing authentication token error?
Any thoughts on how to fix this. I googled the error but haven't been able to fix this
