I don't know if any episodes of Vzglyad have english subs, but anyone who saw Sergei in this program can't forget what a warm person he was. Not perfect, but nobody is – using dead peoples quotes out of contecst is vile.

I find it rediculous that Sergei said that you should never talk down on your country during a war, even if they're in the wrong. If this were the case, British troops would've ruled the Suez Canal with an iron fist, Coalition troops would still be in Iraq, and many other examples.
