Women are more sensitive about their age because their literal worth in our industry and the roles they get is connected to that, they start playing moms in mid 30s and early 40s whereas men can go on romancing 23 year olds even at the age of 55 and get roles of characters in their 20s Or 30s , till the time when women in our movies will be nothing more than glamorous objects used to decorate it, this will continue, and they will loose out on roles even after being so talented and deserving.

Age thing is with girls mostly… For boys it's money and cars probably ?

Lets not forget we have women much younger than heros doing their mother's role.

What do you mean by that time is gone? Screen age is something real and shouldn't be downplayed. Many even in Hollywood look younger/older than they usually should at their age and it definitely does affect the roles they are able to secure ?‍♂️

I doubt Amrita Rao is in her 40s. She's turning 41 in June. I think she is younger. Even her sis Preetika age is still a mystery. I wonder why.
